The crème de la crème of Dutch hard rock and metal is joining forces to pay a fitting tribute to Ronnie James Dio (1942-2010). During The Memorial Concert, all phases of the career of the little man with the great voice will be highlighted. Therefore, count on many classics from Rainbow, Black Sabbath and the band Dio. But there will also be surprising choices from the vast repertoire to which Ronnie James Dio lent his voice.

The star cast during this special evening consists of vocalists John Jaycee Cuijpers (Arjen Lucassen’s Ayreon & Supersonic Revolution / Praying Mantis) and Lisette van den Berg (Scarlet Stories / Ayreon), guitarist Ruud Jolie and keyboardist Martijn Spierenburg (both of Within Temptation), Menno Gootjes (Focus / Black Nazareth), bassist Johan van Stratum (Blind Guardian / VUUR / The Gentle Storm / Stream of Passion) and drummer Stef Broks (Textures).
