Jaar: 2024

The Brother Brothers, Adam and David Moss, were born in a small town under the smoke of Chicago. In their father’s car, they heard The Beatles, The Everly Brothers and Simon & Garfunkel. To say those influences still resonate in their music is an understatement. The Brother Brothers’ sound is infused with them. It is an ode to the heyday of folk and country. Intimate, sometimes a touch sweet-voiced and not devoid of any melancholy. Yet the brothers create their own sound and elevate the music beyond time. Timeless, in other words.

After their Heaven Session, the two climbed on crutches next to Ludo Diels (Heaven Magazine). In a sweltering warm Muziekgieterij – the session was recorded last September, during Bruis – the brothers talked to Diels about growing up in a musical family and about writing a good song.
