STONE

In our small studio, the members of Stone had little room to jump around. Still, the energy splashed off during their Heaven Session in September. Tasty guitar riffs, pounding techno, good old Britpop: as true Gen Z’ers, they let themselves be pinned down to neither style nor direction. Stone prefers to draw from all subcultures. Their music is a collage of virtually all styles and influences a young band can find in the Liverpool area.

They recorded the session prior to their performance at Bruis 2023. After putting four songs on tape in a hurry, they joined Heaven Magazine editor Ludo Diels for a good conversation. In the warm but cozy interview room, Fin (guitar/vocals) and Sarah (bass) talked about the power of a good music video, the vibrant music scene in Liverpool and about the magical experience of playing at Werchter.
