Sorry, not sorry. A few hours before their show at Best Kept Secret, the band Sorry climbed onto the stage at Muziekgieterij. The North Londoners make fine guitar pop, with touches of 90’s rock and trip-hop here and there. Just before the corona crisis crippled everything, Sorry released their debut album, cryptically titled ‘925.’ In 2022, ‘Anywhere But Here’ followed and the band was finally able to go on a long-awaited tour. And that relief was even more palpable when the five-piece climbed onto our stage. After the session, singer Asha Lorenz climbed onto the stool next to Heaven writer Ludo Diels for a conversation about the music scene in London and about getting up early.
