Pip Blom

Pip Blom’s third album has only been in record stores for a few weeks, but we got a sneak peek this summer. When the band recorded a Heaven Session prior to the show at Bruis, they played no less than three songs from ‘Bobbie’. This record is again full of catchy pop songs as we know them from Pip Blom: uninhibited, fresh and nicely danceable. They interweave delicious electro pop with some solid guitar work here and there.

After the session, Heaven Magazine editor Ludo Diels spoke with frontwoman and namesake Pip Blom about touring, recording a record and the undeniable power of simple songs.
