Oscar Browne
Jaar: 2024
“You kind of have to lean in to get it,” Oscar Browne tells Ludo Diels (Heaven Magazine) about his own music. Indeed, the British singer-songwriter’s music is not a hurricane that blows you over, but rather a subtle breeze. You sit on the edge of your seat to hear nuances. The seemingly self-explanatory way Browne fuses electronic music with folk further enhances the contemplative, somewhat dreamy nature of his sound.
After the session in Muziekgieterij’s studio, Browne and Diels talked about Van Morrison, the music scene in southeast London and the age-old (but still relevant) question: how does a song come about now?
