Kiiōtō

Lou Rhodes (Lamb) and Rohan Heath (The Urban Cookie Collective) together form Kiiōtō. The duo had not actually planned to make music yet. Rohan was working on a book about grief and fly fishing, while Lou had focused on poetry. But blood creeps where it can’t go. Rohan played a melody on the piano in Lou’s kitchen, and it went on from there. Lou: “It just kept flowing, and flowing, and flowing.” After the session at the Muziekgieterij studio, the duo spoke with Ludo Diels (Heaven Magazine) about biblical album titles, the spirit of a place and the creation of musical ideas.
