During Best Kept Secret, at the beginning of the festival season, Hammok climbed onto the Muziekgieterij stage for a cutting and hyper-energetic session. The hardcore punkers would play another unforgettable show later that night in a blood-hot Casbah, but on our stage, the Norwegians already showed what they have to offer. And that’s a lot, so much so that it degenerated into a real moshpit.

After the short but very intense session, Heaven editor Ludo Diels spoke with frontman Tobias Osland about the challenges of forming a trio, playing, the band’s musical background and the origins of their aggression.
