Daniela Pes

Daniela Pes played a moody, almost otherworldly set on the Muziekgieterij Stage. Her vocals are vulnerable and direct; the electronics stay in the background and support the melodies. The songs sound austere but precise: few notes, plenty of effect. Musically, she moves between folk and jazz, and occasionally we hear influences from her Sardinian background.
