CLT DRP
Jaar: 2023
In the evening they played at The Casbah, but in the afternoon they were already on our stage for a Heaven Session: CLT DRP. Their music is hard to capture in a genre. What we can say is that it is uncompromising, nice and hard, energetic and that it sometimes rubs. And CLT DRP (indeed, it’s pronounced “Clit Drip”) aims its arrows at the patriarchy, no doubt about that.
Heaven editor Ludo Diels sat down with singer Annie Dorrett after CLT DRP’s cutting session to talk about the end of post-punk, Brexit, a new record and how the band members found each other. “We all kind of liked the weird stuff.”
