Caspar Auwerkerken is a Belgian singer-songwriter who makes a profound impression with minimal means. His music balances between folk and indie and is carried by a clear, fragile voice reminiscent of Tamino and Thom Yorke. With minimalist arrangements, he creates a layered atmosphere in which every note and even silence takes on meaning.

His lyrics draw inspiration from philosophy, art and nature, reflecting on themes of alienation, climate change, time and connection. Influences from artists such as Aldous Harding, José González and Beirut can be heard in his search for truth and emotion in simplicity.

Recently Caspar played a wonderful recording session at the Muziekgieterij studio with Rob Driessen and had a great conversation with Anne Lemmens. During this session he performed songs from his new album, which was released on February 27, 2026.
