    • Muziekgieterij’s production company stands in its strength as a talent developer with the Playground as its venue. We make the difference with our extensively available facilities, supported by the expertise of its staff and the associated community. From here, we support talent from their first step up to the moment they can spread their wings.

    Talent In Residence

    A unique one-year coaching programme by Muziekgieterij. We help you create, produce and record your music. In addition to music coaching, we pay attention to branding and marketing to better market you as an artist. Each trajectory is tailor-made, tailored to your specific needs and goals, giving you the tools and knowledge you need to take the next step in your career.

    Artists In Residence

    Our programme is specially designed to help (semi-)professional bands and musicians from the Euregion and take their careers to new heights. Under the guidance of our experienced team of music professionals, you will gain access to our expertise and an extensive network within the music industry.

    Releases

    We enter into partnerships with labels, bookers and artists, with the aim of developing talent and preferably subsequently releasing an album through a label. This has led to our joint venture with record label V2 Records, in which we partner with the artist in the production of an album.

    • Artist In Residence

      AIR is the most intensive programme by Muziekgieterij’s Production House. It is intended for musicians who want to deepen their artistic identity and work on a project with strong content. Over a period of one year, we offer space, coaching and support to help you realise your plan, from an EP or live show to an interdisciplinary or conceptual project.

      You set the course yourself. Muziekgieterij provides the guidance and space for AIR Labs, studio time, presentation opportunities and access to a professional network. AIR is not an education or a fixed program, but a customized trajectory that moves with your development. The trajectory revolves around deepening, ownership and growth: learning what your path is as a musician, how you shape it and how you can continue to build independently.

      Each year we select a maximum of four artists or projects that stand out for their vision, ambition and growth potential. All genres are welcome, as long as they fit the identity of Muziekgieterij: idiosyncratic, curious and driven. The trajectory concludes with a public presentation or another form that suits your plan. The goal is that you are more solid as a musician, know your course and can take the next step yourself.

      Subscribe

      Interested parties can apply using the form below with a project plan explaining goal, motivation and working method. The condition is that you live in the Maastricht region and can spare at least eight hours a week to work on your project. Need help setting up a project plan? Then use this example.

    • Label

      The label M-PX was created to release recordings by Muziekgieterij’s artists in residence. New talent can thus profile themselves through music services such as Spotify, Deezer, Apple and Youtube. This helps them in their search for new professional partners in the music industry, such as a booking agency, management or record label.

      Artists in residence

      Artists in residence already working professionally can have the result of the project they worked on at Muziekgieterij released on the M-PX label. This may also possibly be done as a one-off release, alongside their already existing record contract with another company.

      Musical heritage

      The M-PX label also accommodates the Euregio’s rich musical past. Such as recently with a number of remastered reissues of bands belonging to the ‘M-Town rebels’. This was a globally renowned movement in the 1990s, led by the hardcore punk scene from Maastricht.
