For the starting times of the programme and any supporting acts, as well as the time the doors open, please visit the programme page on our website.

Please note: the starting time may differ from the time stated on your ticket. The times on our programme page are the most up-to-date, but despite the planning, the artist may still choose to deviate from the schedule.

  • Plan your trip

Muziekgieterij is located at Boschstraat 5, 6211 AS in Maastricht. The entrance is at the back of the building, its address is Richie Backfireplein 10, 6211 AE Maastricht. Also looking for a place to spend the night?

  • I travel by bike

A bicycle shed is located next to Muziekgieterij, so that cycling visitors to Muziekgieterij can also park their bikes. That way, you park for free and also contribute to the environment.

  • I travel by public transport

Muziekgieterij is also accessible by public transport. The nearest bus stop is Bus stop Boschstraat/Maagdendries, located on Boschstraat. From here, you can walk into Muziekgieterij within 5 minutes.

  • Accessibility

Seating is not available in our concert halls. Both halls are accessible for wheelchair users but there is no room for placements. So if you arrive as a wheelchair user and there is already (a lot of) other audience members present, there is no possibility to reach certain places with the wheelchair (think in front of/near the stage or on the balcony). There are wheelchair accessible toilets. However, again, these are difficult to reach from a full auditorium when it is crowded. In addition, we would like to stress that the lift will become inoperative in case of fire evacuation, making it more difficult to evacuate wheelchair users from the balcony. Our advice to wheelchair users is to stay on the ground floor.

    Wheelchair ramp

From the parking Sphinx site, walk north on Boschstraat. At the intersection with the traffic lights, turn right (immediately after the bicycle parking). Then immediately turn right again (immediately after the white building), towards the back of the building (navigate to Richie Backfireplein 10, via Fransensingel). Here you’ll find the entrance to the Muziekgieterij. It is accessible via the wheelchair ramp. If you have any questions, contact us.

    • Where can I park?

Around and near the Sphinx Quarter are several parking spaces, the closest being parking Sphinxterrein. Further on, there is also the possibility to park under Mosae Forum shopping center or at the Bassin.

Below are the addresses for navigating:
      Parking Frontenpark
      Parking Sphinxterrein
      Parking Mosae Forum
      Parking Bassin

You can find all information around the accessibility of Muziekgieterij on the Plan your visit page.

However, if you have difficulty walking or are unable to stand for long periods of time for any other reason, please contact us until no later than three days before the event and we will see what we can do for you. By the way, walkers, mobility scooters or self-brought stools are not allowed in the hall. Walking crutches are allowed. By the way, walkers, mobility scooters or self-brought sit-up crutches are not allowed in the hall. Walking crutches are otherwise permitted.

  • Foyer

Want to grab a bite to eat or a drink before the show? You can always visit our foyer.

Maastricht’s coziest meeting place is behind the gates of Muziekgieterij. Walking down the corridor in the former Timmerfabriek, in the middle of the Sphinx Quarter, the reception hall of the pop venue is the first thing you see behind the metal doors. Behind it resides a foyer with contemporary and quirky decor, complemented by an equally quirky menu.

    Menu

We love to vary, so the current range of food offerings and beer specials changes constantly.

    Opening hours foyer

The foyer is open from 17:00 to 00:00 on the days a concert or event takes place. Therefore, keep as a rule of thumb: if an event is in our calendar, you can come to the foyer for a bite to eat or a drink. On days when we only offer a nighttime event, the foyer won’t be open. Want to be sure of your spot? Reservations can be made at this e-mail address.

  • Ticket support

There’s nothing more inconvenient than losing your tickets, we understand that all too well. That is why we have answered all the most frequently asked questions for you in the FAQ. Is your question not there? Then please get in touch with Stager.

  • Lost and found

Visited a concert or spent a night partying and found out when you got home that you lost something at Muziekgieterij? There’s a good chance we found your belongings or a fellow visitor dropped them off at our offices.

    Storage

We keep found objects for a fortnight. The only way to ask if we have found your item is via e-mail. After four weeks, we take found items such as passports and identity cards to the municipality. Other items are destroyed or disposed of. Contact the municipality of Maastricht to check whether your item is with the municipality.

    Tickets

    • I have lost my tickets! What to do now?

Tickets purchased through Stager that have not been received in your inbox can be retrieved on this page.

    • How can a show sell out so quickly?

Sometimes more people want to attend a programme than the number of tickets available. The demand for tickets then exceeds the capacity of the venue, and you will notice this in the queue in our ticketshop. By the way, we have no influence on this; the places in the queue are allocated automatically. We recommend to not refresh the page, otherwise you might lose your spot in the queue.

    • When does the presale start?

DThe presale date and time are listed on the relevant event page on our website, you can also sign up for an email notification at the time the presale starts. This time is determined in consultation with the artist's representative. Often the presale starts on Friday at 10:00 am, but always double check to make sure you get there on time.

    • The show has been cancelled, now what?

All ticket buyers of a cancelled show have received an e-mail about this with more information about this show and their ticket(s). As a ticket holder, did you not receive any information? If so, please contact us.

    • Do you also accept gift vouchers?

Unfortunately, our ticketing system does not support gift vouchers. This also applies to VVV vouchers and Podiumcadeau vouchers.

    • I have not received my tickets! What should I do?

Since the beginning of 2024 we have been utilising "sealed tickets," this is to combat black market trading. We noticed that at many shows dealers were buying up tickets and selling them at exorbitant prices. This is obviously not fair to other visitors, who would also have liked to buy a ticket. The sealed ticket feature means that these tickets are only released at a later date and in the meantime can only be sold via Ticketswap with a minimum percentage added to the price. This works discouragingly we can see, allowing more real visitors to buy tickets right away.

You will receive your tickets 48 hours prior to the start of the event.

    • Can I be put on a standby list if a concert is sold out?

If a concert is sold out, we do not register cancellations. Therefore, placing on a waiting list is unfortunately not possible. For this as well, we advise you to keep an eye on Ticketswap.

    • Is it possible to return or exchange tickets?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to return or exchange already purchased tickets (see ticket conditions). This is also clearly stated on our website and Stager's website. In order to prevent fraud with QR codes and for administrative reasons, we cannot make any exceptions to this. For further questions about this, please contact Stager.

Tip: offer your tickets through Ticketswap and then through the relevant Muziekgieterij event page on Facebook.

    • What happens to my tickets if an event is rescheduled?

Tickets will remain valid for the new date, this will also be communicated in an email to all ticket holders. Should you be unable to attend on the new date, we ask you to consider offering these tickets via Ticketswap. From an administrative point of view, this results in far fewer actions in this situation and considerably eases the pressure on us as an organisation. In addition, this is a much faster way for you as a ticket holder to get your ticket money back.

Have you, as a ticket holder, not received any information? If so, please contact us.

    • Where can I purchase tickets?

You can buy the tickets online through our website, you can find them in our agenda.
