Midnight kicks off year with triptych

At MG Midnight, we cherish the roots of electronic music and give a glimpse into the future. Thus, we are proud to bring together both legends and new sounds during three special nights:

Joey Beltram

On Feb. 14, we serve Joey Beltram, the New York pioneer who forever left his mark on techno with tracks like “Energy Flash” and “Mentasm. With Joey we go back in time, to the raw energy of the 90s. With his unique ‘hooversound’ you can still feel his influence in sets of both the young and old generation.

Orbital

On March 23, the Orbital brothers bring their hypnotic and iconic music live to our main hall. In iconic tracks like “Chime” to “Halcyon,” you can hear that their influence extends beyond the dance floor. They bridge the gap between their background in rave culture and modern electronic music, during the ‘Brown and Green’ tour.

Marcel Dettmann

And then we have Marcel Dettmann on April 18, Berghain resident of the first hour and one of the faces of contemporary Berlin techno. With his deep, dark sets, he explores the boundaries of the genre and shows how techno continues to evolve with time.

Of course, all acts will be reinforced by talented support DJs from our local scene. Thus we bring together three generations of techno that tell a story in which the past, present and future meet on the dance floor.
