Zijn stem, uitstraling, looks en stage-act herinneren je aan de glansperiode van de Britse zanger. In haar korte bestaan speelde The Smiths Presumably al bijzonder gesmaakte shows in o.a. Antwerpen, Nederland, Keulen, Manchester (The Factory), London, Leeds, Birmingham, Southend, Ramsgate en Hull.
