About My Baby

MY BABY neemt je mee op een muzikale reis vol bluesy rock, tribale ritmes, rootsy melodieën, psychedelica en funk. Het Amsterdams/Nieuw-Zeelandse trio bestaat uit zangeres en multi-instrumentalist Cato van Dijck, drummer Joost van Dijck en gitaarvirtuoos Daniel ‘Dafreeze’ Johnston. Hun betoverende live-optredens combineren diepe tradities met moderne klanken en hypnotiserende ritmes. Met vijf albums op hun naam, waaronder het experimentele “Sake Sake Sake”, en optredens op festivals als Glastonbury, Lowlands en North Sea Jazz, blijft MY BABY grenzen verleggen. In 2024 gaan ze een nieuwe uitdaging aan: hun unieke universum ontvouwt zich in het theater. Op 27 september in Muziekgieterij!
