About Happy Mondays

Happy Mondays staan op 28 januari 2027 in Muziekgieterij Maastricht. De band uit Salford was een van de drijvende krachten achter de ''Madchester-scene en brak begin jaren negentig internationaal door met Pills 'n' Thrills and Bellyaches. Dat album ging platina in het VK, en de singles 'Step On' en 'Kinky Afro' haalden allebei de Britse top 5.

Meer dan veertig jaar na hun oprichting staat de band nog steeds op het podium. De huidige bezetting bestaat uit Shaun Ryder, Bez, Mikey Shine en Firouzeh Berry. Verwacht een set vol materiaal uit de volledige bandgeschiedenis.

Voorprogramma wordt verzorgd door Trampolene.
